A lot of reforms in psych science in the last decade have focused on improving statistical practices (and that's great). But, as the many of us who have re-analyzed a lot of data can tell you: statistics really cannot help you much when your measures are problematic or invalid.

"One of the attached excel files had over 700,000 cells of data" @EikoFried and @robinnkok used their right of access under the GDPR to ask Elsevier/RELX what personal data the academic-publisher-turned-data-company holds on them. It was a lot. From May: https://t.co/mF6qMYfsrS

Modifying existing #PROMs is an attractive alternative to developing new tools. @RakhshanKamran et al. used CAT testing to minimise the #PROMs burden in patients with thumb base arthritis. Exciting application of @BSSHand #handsurgery registry data https://t.co/3WwoqnwzNn

Adaptive designs work, and can make trials faster. Great paper by Nick Parsons & an awesome team of clever people for this, will give the community a lot of confidence that these can be done, and are effective. https://t.co/atWjiZk2oG
