👩⚕️ Population:.Adults (16+) with fractures of the hand or wrist requiring fixation with K-wires. 🧪 Intervention A: Buried K-wires.🧪 Intervention B: Exposed K-wires. 🎯 Outcomes:.•Surgical Site Infection (SSI) risk at 90 days.•Hand & wrist recovery at 6 months

❓ Why this research?.Hand & wrist fractures are common. K-wires are routinely used in surgery but we don’t know if leaving them exposed or burying them under the skin is safer for patients.
