A vulnerable tendon + explosive movement + poor coordination around the foot-ankle complex = perfect storm for an Achilles rupture. That vulnerable tendon could be due to many factors - often a region of tendon tissue trying to adapt to increased/cumulative load in pre-season.

There were folks in town of Ballinamore out of power until Saturday last & still homes close to town without power. The lines pass through forestry it doesn't matter if people are in the town or not. Poor afforestation licensing, poor planting & managment practices by the owners
