Among the worst offenders: @iMore. I’m done clicking on iMore articles, because it’s clear they don’t care about the content they’re delivering to me. There’s barely any room to read the content on a mobile device, and the damn page reloads every 90 seconds or so. Ridiculous.

When content pages reload while you’re in the middle of reading them in order to (presumably) generate new ad impressions, things are officially out of hand. I see more and more sites doing this each week. It’s a trend that’s going to break the whole model.

Looking back at @simonw's post on RSS dates, after digging into a similar post from Mark Pilgrim on the Wayback Machine ... it's just remarkable that here we are, nearly 20 years later. It's been a long time since I worried about RSS date formatting.
