IMO these are 4 of some of the greatest stories ever told. They have influenced me, the way I write, and the way I watch/consume media. These to me are *PERFECT*, *AMBITIOUS*, & *BOLD* pieces of fiction and no one can shake me from that belief.
@ParadoxThaGod
Dude it's a comedy show. This was a comedic post credit scene. You didn't have to laugh at it if you didn't think it was funny but recognize what wavelength this is on. Live a little.
@SpiderMan3news
It was even funnier when this specific shot came up during the movie on opening night. I heard a few people start laughing when they recognized it, including myself lol
@MCUPerfectGifs
This movie was absolutely sick. Loved it. Middle chunk was a bit slow, but the film really does come together in ways that made me feel like I was given more than what I expected. Very well done. One of the best movies in the MCU and one of the best movies post Endgame.
@NicholasPas5
Nebula is one of my favorite characters because she has such a steep trajectory upward. In every installment of the MCU that she's in, she grows and grows in various ways, big or small. That, and Karen Gillan plays her to perfection.
@Schaffrillas
He was the devil on Finn's shoulder as opposed to Rose's angel. It furthered Finn's arc in the film. Rose showed Finn the importance joining a side that acts in the name of the greater good, whereas DJ tells Finn that staying impartial to either side is more "freeing."
@ijimaia
I never had a deep profound love for the queen nor did I hate her. I was just kinda indifferent. Especially afterwards, hearing all the stuff about her past in Africa and the covering up of her son's lawsuits, just made me even more indifferent to her passing.
@iamyesyouareno
It's funny. I hear about all the racists in this thread, but instead I see more reasonable, supportive non racists talking about how smart this is as a tactic for putting out fires, which drowned out all the racism. Shows what the power of support & solidarity is all about.
@ParadoxThaGod
You don't have to. Comedy is subjective. But recognize what kind of show this is supposed to be. A comedy show. It can have shit like this in it if it wanted to.
@outcast___777
@LookAtMyMeat1
She doesnt NEED to be straight. Also LGBT isnt a delusion. Being gay, bi, or trans is no different to being straight. Its just an alternate way one can identify themselves as. Its not something you choose and its not a fad. Its an inherent part of someone, a basic human right.
@AlliterAndy
@philiplord
@chrizmillr
I caught that and I IMMEDIATELY smiled. I honestly hope the next film does two things: has that cough in the intro again and has one moment where one guy says "yeah I think it's a Banksy" again. I love me some good running bits across an entire trilogy/series/saga :)
@toonsgowild
Overhated! It's a genuinely enjoyable film with BEAUTIFUL animation and visuals, some really good character work between Mike and Sully (all the characters are excellent), & a PHENOMENAL 3rd Act with the human world, one of Pixar's best finales if not their best one.
@xLIONHART13x
@FearedBuck
The kids are literally shouting "fuck the women" and "all gays should die." You're enabling hate to be taught to and fester within these kids by saying "oh they're just passionate about what empowers them" like no, fuck no. Dont waive it off like that.
@Nina7Infinity
@taloravia
@DaviAssis87
Nobody does. Because its a very weird thing to say. Ive never met anybody who puts on their boots standing up. Ive certainly never done it. Him sitting down isnt "feminine" its just him naturally being humble and down to earth, doing things exactly as a farm boy was raised to do.
@D4hz4hn
@sw_holocron
Dude had agency the entire show. He got himself out of several situations, but is NOT the worst thing in the world to have others help him out. He's only human after all.
@MichelsTristan
Said it before and I'll say it again: Seasons 1, 2, 3, and the first movie- PEAK Spongebob. Everything else ranges from ok to really bad.
@bigmonkeong
"2nd movie: he fucks around with ironmans butler flying in ironmans jets using iron spider"
He doesnt pal around with Happy until the end. He only flies around Tony's Jet at the start of the 3rd act. He doesn't even have iron spider for a majority of the time. Did you watch it?
@StarCouncils
Its not confirmed that he's marrok. He's listed under additional voices, right alongside the names of other VAs. Hes done additional voice work like this on other star wars projects outside of Clone Wars, Rebels, and Force Unleashed, like in Andor, The Book of Boba Fett, etc.
@Name3309
As much as I like this movie, the ending would've been so much better, had we not have the end credit scene come in and act like nothing weird just happened.
@dairy_pope
@Dark_SA_X
He had an idea, people called him out on it not being appropriate, and he changed it into something better. Only thing Im taking from this is that he listens to constructive criticism. What's the big deal?
@NicholasPascar5
There was an entire climax before this one moment man. I don't get this critique, personally. I thought it was a good tease for their third alter.
@boopingtontaken
@DoobusGoobus
My personal opinion, the film's dissapointments come from the execution of all these themes and ideas. The movie tried doing way too much with very little time. It just felt sloppy and unrefined. Too much was thrown in the mix.
@MattWilliames
@nickleongart
That sounds like a huge fuckin lie, considering what you JUST quote re-tweeted. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you support trans people or you're against them and you've chosen your side so step off.
@praeco
@evan_monteiro
@thibautgranet3D
The level of sheer skill and ambition to pull something off of this magnitude is a testament to the hard work y'all did to make this show as fucking excellent as it turned out to be. My fav show of all time :)
@MrMeatballl
I kinda disagree. The scene where Elastigirl is tracing the location of Screenslaver's hideout & then creeps around his apartment searching for him, followed by the chase across the complex made for a tense sequence. Not on the same level as this, but about 80-89% on par with it.
@kizviv
This is very informative, but these are the companies that Palestine wants you to boycott. Boycotting Starbucks, McDonalds, or Disney is admirable, but wont do much to help.
@NostalgiaCity2
"Ah Squidward! Still riding to work on a machine, I see!"
"Just ignore him, Squiddy. Remember your karma."
(Squidward flips over his bike, tumbles down a rocky hill and faceplants onto the floor below, his pain followed by a large explosion, leaving his body drenched in ash)
@Frimpys
That scene in Spongebob when he absolutely loses his shit at both Squidward and Mr. Krabs is such comedy gold.
"Listen you crustaceous cheap skate! Squidward's been living in MY house and he's driving me crazy! AND YOUR NOT GONNA HIRE HIM BACK ALL BECAUSE OF A STUPID DIME?!?!"
@gonz0n
@INemmed
No matter the intent, you still used AI which steals from the existing works of other artists to regurgitate cheap images. You basically commited theft for the sake of a joke.
The character animation here is legitimately good. They really beefed up the budget for these episodes and it shows. To the animators who worked on this episode and this show: Bravo. 👏👏👏
@FleurashDesign
I think misleads like this are perfectly OK, where a small thing is tweaked in a trailer to hide a spoiler, but in the end the trailer still accurately depicts what game you will be playing. The Last of Us Part 2 did this too by hiding who dies to send Ellie on her revenge path.
@patriscuit
I would love just a series of shorts of just Wong and Madisynn watching either the Sopranos or something else and just shooting the shit talking about whatever, they're such a perfect odd couple lol
@KhamarSinclair
Is it just me or is this the same kind of snarky quippy quirky humor you'd find in a lot of the MCU movies and shows? How come the movies get shit on for having the same brand of humor that the comics have?
@arcaneshow
@riotgames
@TelevisionAcad
Ella Purnell should've been nominated for Jinx and the show should've been nominated for it's music. The fact that it wasn't acknowledge for either of those things hurts. It really does.
@NaughtyDogInfo
You can definitely see a difference. The remake went out of it's way to include some of the smaller details and facial ticks the actors made in their mocap performance. The characters feel more real than ever before now. Something about the original just feels a little stiff.
@pk_kenzie
Jake Sully. Crippled. His more qualified twin brother was selected for the Avatar program, but after his death, they had to bring in Jake so that they could get someone to drive his brother's Avatar, an operation that they spent millions of dollars on, so it couldn't go to waste.
@TPPNewsNetwork
She said a piece, A👏PIECE👏 of activism in each of them. Why y'all so afraid of women that you gotta dig to try and drag her name in the dirt?
@BlueBoltVA
I think you're allowed to like both. I'm all for this new trend of stylized animation that we've been getting in stuff like Spider-Verse, Arcane, & Mitchells. I think realistic looking animation & visuals can be great as well. Both sides can be great depending on how its used.
"
@PussInBoots
: The Last Wish" isn't only one of the best animated films of the year, it's one of the best films of the year, period. The script? Sharp. The themes? Profound. The characters? Nuanced. It is incredibly dark, funny, moving & the Wolf is a phenomenal villain. 10/10
@obiwankenobi
It's like the fandom just never learned to have some humanity. You can criticise the writing of the character, but for the love of God, keep the actors and actresses out of it. They're just doing their job. There's no room for any kind of hate, bigotry, racism, or sexism.
@SpiderMan3news
That's such beautiful imagery. Miles and Gwen sitting on a balcony watching the sunset, the essence of youthful innocence, but given their responsibilities, everything is now flipped on their heads.
@toonsgowild
The way black people were designed in this is just fucked up. The exaggerated facial features, and everything. Some of them even had purely black noses, like an dog snout. Considering they were called that or some variation of it back then, that's especially fucked up.
@kaiscomics
It's so wild to me that people fail to realize that marvel films aren't meant to be direct translations of the source material, beat-for-beat, word-for-word. That's not how adaptations work, because that's what they are: *Adaptations*.
@afterveil
@realchasecurtis
Filmmakers just using an an A.I. to do everything for them, with none of the human touch that actually makes films special, that just sounds fucking depressing. This isn't a landmark in Cinema, this is cheating.
@DomTheBombYT
"We don't have to do this. You know that, right?"
"What's the other option?"
"Go back to Tommy's. Just...be done with this whole damn thing."
"After all we've been through...everything that I've done...it can't be for nothing."
@JoeBatty_
@YaBoiVision
@DANKFARRIKS
Ok that is just flat out wrong. If it was Cere, they'd use the actual actress that played her because her role in the game was performed through motion capture. Same with Cal and people expect him to show up as the same actor that plays him. Trust me buddy, it's NOT Cere.
@s0ftbatch
I love how in this moment, he FINALLY sees the Empire for what it really is. Crosshair's arc has been such a highlight across both seasons and this episode just continues that build in momentum in such smart and subtle ways.
If you follow me and you support Nerdrotic or any grifters like him or the fandom menace, you might as well see yourself out. Otherwise, I’ll block you myself.
I think it goes without saying that this is f**king dumb and wrong but also racist. This is nothing new from him and anyone still supporting him is fully aware of this and ok with it. "ItS jUsT a JoKe bRo." Yes and jokes can also be racist, have several seats.
@bajaurbana2
@LamardCherAime
Both sons and the youngest daughter speak more like Na'vi. Kiri is the one that doesn't have much of an accent when she speaks. Idk if we watched the same movie cause you expect me to believe that for all three hours, you couldn't hear the thick accent from Jake's eldest sons?
@gonz0n
@INemmed
It may not have been but thats still what happened. Thats the truth with AI art. It only takes from an existing thing to make what it makes. It cant create anything new on it's own.
@xLIONHART13x
@FearedBuck
What they cemented is his message. Kids can be HIGHLY literal and take things at face value. If thats what they take from what he preaches, thats more than likely the message he's sending.
@radioFreeMI
@Levandov_1
The fuck do you mean? A nuclear bomb was dropped on innocent civilians. This cartoon was depicting how deadly the impact was as it would be for anyone else if a nuclear bomb touched them, if it touched you. There's no bias on display here.
@BC42766710B
@TheFirstOkiro
I understand your sentiment, but T'Challa isn't the only Black Panther. There have been others before him and there will be others after him. As long as the mantle is passed down to the right person, young black kids will always have a hero embodying them and their culture.
@PierceOfficer
@ClaoodNoodles
@blu_hannie
It's not taking a dump on the source material to have a character, whose race isn't integral to who they are as characters, be portrayed by black people or people of color. You're straight up ignoring when redheads arent played by natural redheads. You're a racist.
@BartChristian11
@nc_disneyplus
No. They don't. This wasn't some secret evil plot to turn kids queer or something. This was just a peck on the lips that lasted 2 seconds. No different than a mom and a dad sharing a quick kiss in front of their children. Grow up.
@muaythailevi_
@CultureCrave
@IGN
Some creators want to put their own spin on a franchise, to tell a story they've always wanted to tell. Star Wars does this a lot as does Marvel. How come Lord of the Rings can't have a spin-off just because the these films were incredible? No doubt, they were, but still.
@realswtheory
@RollingStone
You literally said female fans are "opportunists." You're allowed to dislike the sequels/shows Lucasfilm released under D+. But the fact that you've publicly made dehumanizing claims against women in the fandom THEN pretended to be the victim? Lucas despises people like you.
@shuIkie
Jen was such a geek here and I love it. Just the way she rigidly stands and just blurts out "I WILL KILL FOR YOU MEGAN THEE STALLION" is just amazing
@margera_loengo
@DiscussingFilm
You say not everything is about race, yet you still make the role about race in saying that Bond is SUPPOSED to be white. Pick a lane.
