Guinness is the platonic ideal of an alcoholic beverage. Low ABV and full of nutrients, sure. But mostly because it forces you out into the world to properly enjoy it. More so than any other form of alcohol, Guinness insists on ritual and camaraderie over ease of consumption.

There was a period of time when everyone was foam rolling their calves. You’d go to somebody’s house and they’d be sitting on the floor rolling back and forth on a piece of foam like “my calves are so tight.” You don’t see that as much anymore.

Watched this great Ken Burns documentary on Frank Lloyd Wright - highly recommend. All the talk about how truly great architecture is hard to put into words, how it's more an indescribable emotion, etc...The golf course I kept thinking of was Pasatiempo.
