Water left. Water right. Water short. 220 yards.
Zero balls in the water this weekend.
It’s really, really hard to do justice to how good tour players are, but this gives you an idea. Outrageous.
It's probably going to be years before people see the full picture as to how big of a burden Rory has carried this past year, and how much he has potentially shaped the future of pro golf.
And to play the ridiculously good golf that he did along the way is just absurd.
-Koepka going for 3 in a row
-Rory coming off a win
-Tiger returning to the site of the greatest performance ever
-Spieth rounding into form
-Primetime on the east coast
-Maybe the most beautiful course in the world
Is this gonna be any fun?
2019 Koepka is an advanced stage EA Sports user-created player. 99 rated skills across the board. You've made him super jacked and you dress him in random stuff just for fun. Simulating all the regular events and just playing the majors.
@chambleebrandel
Hell yeah, brother. Let's go!
1. To start, are you comparing our 2 minutes of commercials per 60 minutes of content policy to the PGA Tour's 18 minute policy?
2. Do you actually think we believe there should be ZERO commercials in professional golf?
3. Do you actually think…
Koepka winning majors in bulk and going out of his way to troll major-less Bryson is a truly admirable level of pettiness. Makin' birds and crushin' nerds. We don't deserve Brooks.
Sam Bennett just spit on his club and wiped it down himself in case you forgot that a college golfer is in the final grouping on the weekend at The Masters.
This was really, really cool.
A few months ago, Tiger talked about how much he missed the feeling of crisp golf shots. About how he laid in the grass just to be outside.
Now he's walking off Augusta having completed 72 holes at The Masters. And soaking it up. Very cool.
The 54 hole jokes will be made, but this week was undoubtedly a win for Koepka. He got beat by one guy, and it's the number one player in the world.
It's very good to see him back to being competitive in golf's biggest events.
Gonna take some time to process what Cam Smith just did. A back nine 30 at the 150th Open in front of a crowd that was so obviously pulling for the other guy.
The most PGA Tour thing ever is one of the best showdowns in recent memory not being shown live on TV. Only the folks going out of their way to stream it are watching.
Rickie's been the 6th best player in the world over the last 6 months, trailing only Scottie, Rahm, Cantlay, Xander, and Rory.
The win is validation for what has been a very, very real return to form.
He was already very likely to be on the Ryder Cup team, and this locks it.
Met a group of guys this morning in town from Ohio, here to see some golf. I see one of them an hour later riding shotgun in a golf cart with a security officer.
“Don’t ask Patrick Reed to sign your shovel.”
Bryson has gone from getting heckled weekly to fans shouting his actual name as he wraps up an undefeated Ryder Cup week. It’s refreshing to see him having a lot of fun.
