Earlier this week, I said that the So Cal HFC Carousel was spinning much slower than last year. However, after 7 coach changes the last 2 days, we are now at 46 changes. And wouldn't you know it, we were at 46 changes on 12/11/24 too!!

Make this SEVEN Head Coaches gone in the last two days. 4 of you sent me DMs that San Diego High has opened up today, their HC Syd Reed emailed all of the SD County coaches today that he has resigned.

Most coaches don't care, honestly. They think it won't happen to them. I tell coaches all the time to tread lightly about a job, or flat out "don't take the job, the last HC told me the whole story." Most coaches just want an opportunity.
What St. Francis did to longtime head coach Dean Herrington one of the most respected names in Southern California high school football was, by nearly every measure, mishandled. And you can be sure that every coach eyeing that newly posted six-figure position is taking note.

One thing I don't see ANYONE in the media explaining about being "in custody" is the "5150 hold" that happens when a person is a threat to themselves. There is a chance he's simply being held because of the threats to kill himself. Otherwise, should have been able to bail out.
Arraignment for Sherrone Moore tomorrow in Ann Arbor, with charges likely to be publicly announced then. Fact he is still in custody suggests charges will be very serious.
