There are a lot of talented, smart, well-meaning people at @BudgetHawks. I truly think many there are furious by the passage of OBBBA, and I know they worked to defeat it. But, the deficit hawk world needs to think long and hard about their effectiveness and purpose after today.

Curtis is a small town of 900 people in rural southwest Nebraska. The Curtis Medical Center announced yesterday it is closing, after more than 30 years. It is the only health care provider in the community. They blame Trump’s Medicaid cuts.
