Conventional wisdom says independents can’t win. Conventional wisdom says independents are spoilers. Conventional wisdom says you have to caucus with a party anyway so what’s the difference. Conventional wisdom is why we are where we are. Independents are the answer.

Nothing will ever replace a master of their craft when it comes to art because the very fact that it is from a person is central to the experience. The idea that AI and art need to be at odds is ridiculous. Humans ability to create is augmented not replaced by the new technology.

This is the only thoughtful approach I’ve heard to government regulation of AI yet. And @SenMarkKelly is the only politician I’ve heard recognize that every technological development has led to an increase in productivity and earnings not less.
