I've seen the recent announcement by @browsercompany and I think there's something really interesting happening there, something we're also working on @kosmik_app. The browser is dead! We need a way to access websites, but not another browser! There was a joke a few years ago

I often write bits of code just to try something out or see if something is possible. That code is typically ephemeral, but after @TodePond's recent talk at Causal Islands I've decided to start sharing more of these scrappy fiddles at

Short but sweet mini-interview with me. We cover origins of Heroku, Ink & Switch, and Muse, plus some zoom out on general technology trends.

@eatonphil So true! I’m yearning for community-led meetups these days. I’m trying a few internally at my work first, then plan to take them outside. Fortunately there are a few that still have the vibe of StrangeLoop but for systems. @causalislands is yet another one I loved ❤️

Let’s see if we can crowdsource a robust definition of “agent” (with respect to AI and LLMs) that fits in a <=280 character tweet Reply to this with your best attempt, then scroll through the replies and fave the ones that makes sense to you

Things are brewing ☕️ a related (somewhat crazy?) idea - CSS for <canvas>. A small utility that lets you define classes and styles for canvas elements. Do we need it? Maybe not. Would it be fun? YES. Anyway, I made some progress on the idea quoted below, will be sharing soon!

Built an infinite canvas using plain old HTML5 <canvas> and I'm loving the format <3 trying out an idea!

how systems thinking, as borrowed from the field of ecology can reimagine a resilient, antifragile internet for all. this is the impetus behind my own efforts in carving out a unique space for myself via a digital garden. https://t.co/vfPHcE1wor

The internet has become an extractive and fragile monoculture. But we can revitalize it using lessons learned by ecologists.
