Twitter has been an incredible platform for my career and scientific relationships, and I’ve made so many meaningful connections here. But it’s simply not what it used to be. I think it’s time to give Bluesky another try. See you over there?

Great day! You all know I love trees, but nothing like some tallgrass prairies to feed the Wisconsin piece of my soul 😉

If you’re writing about Toronto experiencing 26-degree weather in October as a super fun thing, and not mentioning the words “climate change,” you are not reporting the situation accurately and you are doing readers a disservice. This isn’t normal and we can’t pretend it is!

Wonderful week at the #CUFC2024 conference. Highlights were seeing Kayleigh thrive in her new @TreeCanada role, interacting with amazing @NSERC_CRSNG UFOR students and colleagues, and spending some time in tallgrass prairies that I miss so much from Wisconsin!
