Excited to share our latest story! We found disentangled memory representations in the hippocampus that generalized across time and environments, despite the seemingly random drift and remapping of single cells. This code enabled the transfer of prior knowledge to solve new tasks

Kicking off the new year with our new paper in @Nature! We find that touch-guided tongue control in mice relies on a collicular mechanosensorimotor map, analogous to collicular visuomotor maps associated with visually-guided orienting in many species. https://t.co/lpC6Rw1qkc

How does the hippocampus moderate reactivation following learning? We identified a hippocampal circuit mechanism which seems to play this role- and it’s driven by CA2! Check below for a summary of our recent results from this week's @ScienceMagazine https://t.co/Ix8yESH8Ng 1/

Cell assemblies are drawing increasing attention in Neuroscience. But one could argue that they are just an epiphenomenon. Is cell assemblies’ activity relevant for the brain? The short answer is yes. The long answer is in a preprint just online on bioRxiv. 🧵👇 1/10
