Not saying these books aren’t ok reads but all this productivity optimisation is counter productive. Nurturing your imagination is vital, connecting to fictional characters helps build empathy, and getting lost in a good story is def more beneficial to u/ur brain than ‘self help’
Saw this posted on LinkedIn as a leader’s recommended reading list (or something along those lines).
Once again I am begging of you, please read more fiction. I promise that it will do more for you vs another productivity optimization book.

Iv said this my whole career. Fashion seems to be the only industry where honest critique is unacceptable and seen as blasphemy. In art, cinema, literature, food etc opinions are dealt out freely and taken gracefully. I dont get why fashion tries to apply a PR twist on everything
I’m so frustrated by fashion critique being constantly reframed as meanness or an attack on the brand or designer. In art, theatre & film critique is a natural part of coverage — its a honest assessment and rarely intended with malicious intent to the artist or creator.
