I had the fortune of traveling @TurkishAirlines (again) last week. And the case of an in-flight #emergency with a sick child. I came to find out that the #medical box on the plane, unfortunately, did not seem to have pediatric dosing for meds ie adult only oral #medications.

Very sad to hear that UMass is rescinding all PhD admissions for Fall 2025. This means there will be no new PhD cohort, and UMass will not have a graduating class that year. This is just unprecedented and I am so very sorry for all the affected students.

I'm delighted to have co-authored this critical paper alongside other African global health experts (@seyeabimbola and @DrEmeruemJnr ) on how Africa's health systems can adapt and build resilience following the abrupt USAID cuts.

🚨 As of February 7, 2025, Trump has been president for 19 days—and spent 9 of them in Florida. That’s 47% of his presidency on vacation. Each Mar-a-Lago trip costs taxpayers $3.4 million, adding up to $10.2 million so far. Where the hell is DOGE?

Donald Trump is making a deliberate attempt to overwhelm the system, and to overwhelm you. It can be difficult to keep up. And that’s by design. But we can keep up – and respond. Here’s what he’s doing, and what it means for you. Just the facts. 🧵⤵️
