Today, we need more people like Arthur Ashe. A man or courage, strength, and focus who was dedicated to defeating discrimination, and improving the lives of those who are least privileged. Cc @Wimbledon @splcenter @espn @usta @BillieJeanKing.
82 years ago today, on July 10, 1943, Arthur Ashe was born. He was the first Black man to win men's singles at #Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the Australian Open, and he blazed a trail for so many to follow. His legacy lives on.
