Some of you will know that my old man has been unwell for quite sometime. Late on Monday evening he sadly passed away peacefully at home in Beenham.
For those wanting to attend his funeral - it will take place at St Mary’s Church, Woolhampton on Wed 8 Dec at 2pm.

Investment in roads should be to entice people in, but with less sport, less nightlife, less shops and less provision for youth - all roads are leading out of town.

Desperately sad news. I was very fond of Eric, a kind soul - straight talking at times; but always in a bid to help.
Lucky to have shared a few quieter moments before and after games where he shared his love of music and football.

More needs to be done to protect clubs at grassroots. Long considered the lifeblood of the professional game and yet provision and support is continually drained.
Change is needed.
Basingstoke Town developed a special talent. Brighton took him. They've tried to help Basingstoke but were unable to under "crazy" rules. "We’re proud he’s gone there. But clubs like us need to know we can develop players. We’ve been asset-stripped."

Was lucky enough to work with John Motson a few years ago. A genuinely lovely man.
He was recording some audio for an advert we’d created and ended up falling asleep in the sound studio. Nobody had the heart to wake him up.

Growing up at

this man epitomised the very soul of the club. He was one of the real characters of non-league football who truly loved the game.
Forever will I hear those bellowed words ‘MIND MY CAR’ whenever a striker balloons one over the bar.
What a man.
And now unfortunately some sad news - Thatcham Town FC are saddened to hear of the passing of Keith Churchill. Keith was a life-long Thatcham Town fan who ran the line in the club’s Lancaster Close days and drove the minibus for the youth & reserve teams.
