Marwan Barghouti is a cold-blooded mass murderer, responsible for the brutal deaths of dozens of Israelis. To compare him to Nelson Mandela is a grotesque insult to history and humanity. His hands are soaked with the blood of innocents: wedding guests murdered in January 2002,

Illinois is hemorrhaging population, awash in red ink, & its main city is beset with violent crime. Its one-party leadership is focused on making federal law enforcement’s job as hard as possible in detaining people — many of them criminals — with no legal right to be in the US:

People just throw around statements like "the SAT means nothing." The SAT is more strongly predictive of college performance than high school GPA. There's a reason that colleges that dropped standardized tests are requiring them again -- they provide important information.

@cSchaez @jbarro @aduno_tal @SeanTrende Well, the SAT means nothing. But beyond that, if we’re trying to get kids ready for the real world, a 90-minute all-encompassing knowledge test is just not something anyone needs to do in the workforce. Like, a 24-hour turnaround on a task is typically pretty reasonable or fast.

'He has a point, but he's too blunt.' From the start, a key tactic of the gender identitarians has been linguistic prescription, and it's proved shockingly successful. Trans activists' shibboleths and euphemisms have been allowed to penetrate the upper echelons of our culture

Reading accounts of what Hamas did to Israeli hostages and what the Russians have done to Ukrainians they snatched, it is striking how similar the Russians and Hamas have been. Torture, denial of food, and continuing abuse characterized both. Neither should escape accountability.
