Overjoyed that one of our moms—the resilient Briana Drummer—was asked to introduce @NYCSpeakerAdams at her final State of the City Addresss. Briana represents the heart of NYC and seeing her share her story at historic Lincoln Center is an event we won’t soon forget.
Through @bridgeprojectny and @NYCCouncil's first-of-its-kind guaranteed income program, Briana and mothers like her have been able to secure housing and stability for their families. Also a @CUNY Reconnect student, Briana is on her way to receiving her college degree this year.

The Gov's proposal is directly informed by our work proving the efficacy of direct cash in the perinatal period to improve infant and maternal health and decrease poverty. And just last month she met with moms from our program to discuss issues of affordability in New York
