Instead of addressing our mental health crisis, federal actions will disrupt funding and reduce coverage for individuals who need this critical care to take care of themselves and their loved ones. (3/4).

Medicaid is the single largest payer for mental health services in the country and a lifeline for those who rely on their coverage to access mental health care. (2/4).

Great to hear @goodwill_flx CEO & President Jen Lake speak on the importance of the 211/Life Line & 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. We know that a direct connection to compassionate care can save lives–my office is proud to support programs that uplift individuals in crisis.

Black women in NYS earn 66 cents for every dollar a white, non-Hispanic man makes. W/o pay equity, black mothers are ill-equipped to make ends meet. I am committed to fighting for anti-discrimination efforts in the workplace to create pathways for success for Black women in NYS.
