This @nytimes story isn’t just a leak. It is an escalation meant to provoke North Korea. The timing is no accident. Right after Kim Jong Un meets Putin and Xi in China, the Times drops it. A calculated move to undermine the administration and stoke conflict. @David_Philipps

‼️U.S. Unemployment Rate would be 4.9% if our Labor Force Participation Rate didn’t fall precipitously since April ‼️ after a jobless May and June and today’s Job Openings data, I expect the Fed to cut three times this year and again next year. Fed Funds Rate should be 2.75%

Nearly half of Nvidia’s revenue is U.S.-based. But a staggering 31%—over $40B in FY2025—flows to China & its proxies. That means 1/3 of Nvidia’s chip clusters are arming our mortal enemy, fueling Beijing’s military modernization with America’s most advanced technology. #NVDA

Well said @johnkonrad. A new Stanford/ADP study just dropped showing entry level workers in AI exposed jobs are down ~13% since late ’22. The real takeaway: AI isn’t just cutting young workers, it’s wiping out the bottom rung of the career ladder. Companies are restructuring

AI leadership won’t come from funding Intel alone. It will come from inventing new hardware and innovative start-ups. Everyone thinks AI will reinvent everything except the chips and hardware architecture it runs on. What if AI hardware used fewer critical minerals? That would

No brainer. It's an opportunity cost for our best and brightest to give away limited slots to educate an adversary subverting everything we do. @RepGallagher

Blindly embracing academic cooperation with China, our greatest geopolitical rival, is absurd. Nobody suggests we train Iranian nuclear physicists or Russian ballistics engineers. Why make an exception for a nation seeking to crush us in emerging tech?

@mcuban Exactly. The CCP’s control of critical mineral refinement gives them leverage, and if they're demanding Nvidia and AMD access, which they almost certainly are, we have no choice but to let them sell in China. Placing what amounts to an export duty (tax) on those sales that we

What people are missing: China is threatening to cut off critical minerals like gallium, which it refines almost entirely. That means the U.S. has little choice but to let Nvidia and AMD sell gear in China if it is part of the negotiations. It almost certainly is. Critical

OpenAI just dropped new open-weight AI models that are competitive with their most powerful models. This is incredible for developers as you now can get full control of your stack. The industry didn’t have to play out like this, but somehow it did.

China trades more with U.S. than any other nation. We buy their exports, fund their growth, and even train their engineers. Yet their leadership wants us distracted by war, divided at home, and in decline. This is not competition. It’s the most dangerous paradox in history: one
