It’s a new era in New England: the Patriots have hired Jerod Mayo as their next head coach and he will be formally introduced at a press conference next week, a source tells ESPN.
File this under “We have it SO GOOD”. In less than 12 months:
-Red Sox World Series Champions

Just spoke with Jordan’s Furniture’s Eliot Tatelman. Ready for this?
“Rick Porcello’s one hitter last night would have been free furniture to 45,000 families, over $100,000,000.00. One pitch made the difference.”
WOW!

Sad news to report. Patriots' RB James White's father was in a car crash today and did not survive. His mother was also in the car and is in critical condition.
White's father, Tyrone, was a captain with the Miami-Dade Police Department.
James was told and is inactive tonight.
News story: Matthew Slater, who holds the NFL record for most Pro Bowls by a special teamer, retires.
"In 2008, I came here as a young man with hopes and dreams. In 2024, I can retire knowing this experience has exceeded any hope or dream I ever had."
“I understand that in order to win games, in order to win championships, you really need to get it done on the defensive end.”
