Strange definition of ‘closed’, I’ve just come through. It’s currently a shamefully disorganised clusterfuck. Staff behind barriers not letting people through, a crush of confused people wondering why they aren’t allowed on their trains. No proper announcements or staff out front.

Even when the Tories are in power they aren’t in power, it seems. The right-wing constantly seek to portray themselves as having no real power (cf “enemy of the people” judges, “the blob” etc.) and so they take no responsibility for their ongoing shitshow.
Twelve years? The Tories have had at most one non-pandemic year with anything close to a decent majority.
