I personally love playing with subpar players. It challenges me to be extremely accurate, make cuts that are easy to hit, and help them grow as a player. This “only good ultimate” mentality is selfish and stunts the growth of ultimate in communities.
Playing club makes it really hard to play subpar Ultimate during league or pickup games. It’s just not fun unless it’s good ultimate.

This is the one. We are all privileged to be able to throw a piece of plastic but we aren’t on a moral high ground.
So in a position of privilege, we MUST use our voices to advocate for vaccinations, if possible, and normalize testing.
Either we all win or everyone loses.
If we are traveling to play club tournaments/AUDL/PUL games, then we have to admit that we are not doing everything we can to help prevent the spread of COVID. We have to admit that we care more about playing frisbee than going full stop against the pandemic.
