This tweet (and the booking automation it describes) was entirely written and posted by Claude Code using osascript. Yes, an AI just automated itself posting on Twitter from a Mac terminal.

Just used osascript + Chrome's AppleScript bridge to automate a restaurant booking entirely from the terminal. No Selenium. No Puppeteer. No browser driver. Just native macOS commands. AppleScript is the most underrated automation tool on Mac.

Rooting for pydantic
Fuck it, a bit early but here goes: Monty: a new python implementation, from scratch, in rust, for LLMs to run code without host access. Startup time measured in single digit microseconds, not seconds. @mitsuhiko here's another sandbox/not-sandbox to be snarky about 😜 Thanks

Havent read yet but reposting because already knew this would be good
We're all still fumbling in the dark with agents, but some patterns are emerging (and some disappear quickly again!), and it's our role as software makers to make use of it all along the way. Here are some quick notes from one of those internal sessions sorting it all at 37s.

Our short film Dear Upstairs Neighbors is previewing at @sundancefest. 🎬 It’s a story about noisy neighbors, but behind the scenes, it’s about solving a huge challenge in generative AI: control. Developed by Pixar alumni, an Academy Award winner, researchers, and engineers,

all these agentic UIs we're building feel like scaffolding because agents aren't reliable enough yet. meeting them halfway. but if they get good enough... maybe chat was always the answer.

what makes it work isn't the phone. it's that the person picking up remembers everything, learns, gets context without constant reminders. throw in voice and file sharing and suddenly chat doesn't feel so limited.

been thinking about how billionaires mostly just work through phone calls and emails. everyone says chat is the wrong interface for agents. but maybe the interface isn't the problem? they're not using some special UI - they just have capable people on the other end.

“When hard parts become easy, the differentiator becomes love.”
Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: https://t.co/RUXK48iPuu

This is a very good description of what's still required. It's more than typing, isnt it
I sent this message to everyone at Ardan this morning. Good Morning everyone. I want to share this and share some thoughts for all of you to consider for this year. We all need to come to recognize that if your job is to just write code, you will be out of a job in the next

IMO it should be considered quite rude in most contexts to post or send someone a wall of 100% AI-generated text. “Here, read this thing I didn’t care enough about to express myself.”

so apparently all top OSS models identify themselves as Claude... does that mean that most of them are trained on synthetic data by Claude?
