“Don’t trust anything you read on the internet” probably should have been the default, but it’s definitely where things are headed.
An example of how AI is turning the internet (and X) into untrustworthy slop. Amjad posts a message to help Windsurf employees who were left behind. A blue check account claims they are just this (a hardcore engineer who wants to join Replit.) Most upvoted reply. But it’s AI:

Convergent evolution is a strong signal. Just as eyes and wings have evolved many times, certain agentic AI patterns keep emerging that are almost unreasonably elegant and effective.
My magic little /todo prompt is indispensible for local work now. New/existing project? No problemo. Create docs/todo.md folder, add your first sloppy todo. On first start, Claude will generate a tiny in docs/ it can refer to later.

Grok 4 is the first AI that actually thinks from first principles about controversial subjects as opposed to the canned woke responses we’re used to now. I expect they will come under intense political pressure soon, but I hope they don’t nerf it.
