Actually... I went to honor 2 of our Police Officers who were injured on Saturday. We worked with the

to have them on the ice for ceremonial puck drop. They stayed with their families, I left to spend an hour of my birthday with my family. In Pittsburgh, we help people.

It’s true. Since we’ve adopted “complete street” standards that have proven record of making neighborhood streets safer, Pittsburgh has been experiencing record number of 50 year & 100 year precipitation events, record landslides & flooding associated with them. Roundabouts, yep.
I’ve lived in Point Breeze for 18 years. Nothing like this had ever happened - until Mayor Bill Peduto decided our intersection needed a “roundabout” for cyclists.
