The Steelers certainly had a splashy offseason. However, it’s also a deeper roster in a few key spots. On some of the unheralded additions, specifically on defense:

I asked Darnell Washington earlier if the middle of the field might be more of an option this year: "Attacking the middle of the field is probably one of the easiest things to do in football. If it’s one-on-one and you have good ball placement, it’s always open.".

Skylar Thompson and Mason Rudolph in the first half: 167 yards and 2 touchdowns on 17-of-19 passing. Ten different guys caught passes. Also notable: some of them came over the middle of the field. Wild.

Can't blame the offensive line there. Mason has to get rid of it or tuck & go. Also probably saw why Kaleb Johnson was available in the third round.

Good point by Crowley. Also, the blitz pickup by Darnell Washington on the first pass to Roman Wilson. Solid series for pass protection.
Rudolph goes 7-for-7 on the first drive. Most important aspect? Offensive line held up great in pass protection.
