Richard Ratcliffe and I have come out of our meeting with the Foreign Office Minister, who had just met his Iranian counterpart. It was hard to watch my constituent in visible distress as it became clear that there was no real breakthrough and nothing new to report. #FreeNazanin

I get told frequently by Conservative MPs that the public aren’t bothered about private companies running NHS services and making a profit. I don’t think this is correct. If you would like profit-making to be removed from the NHS, pls RT. Let’s see!

The REAL problem is that we have too many rapes. The priority has to be PREVENTING all forms of violence against women and girls, rather than putting all our energy and resources into MANAGING it, as if it’s an inevitable force of nature. #EnoughIsEnough

@sbattrawden We also need to talk about the lack of ICU beds & trained staff. If we had the resources other countries in Europe have we might not be in such a terrible position, e.g. compare the total number of critical care beds per 100,000 inhabitants: Germany 29.6 v UK 6.6

Matt Hancock has repeatedly cited the NAO report on PPE supply, seemingly claiming it absolves him of blame for shortages and deaths in the NHS. It definitively does not say that. https://t.co/GUpFzCzWNO
