I don’t think there is a canned solution for you. I have “joked” about a node-scaled DaemonSetSet but never implemented it.
Kubernetes lazyweb: has anyone done a controller that's a combination DaemonSet and VPA ? I.e. it would schedule a pod on every node and adjust cpu and memory requests per-pod according to some metric.

I'm starting a series of blog posts on the various tension points around "Open Source" and what I believe to be a good path forward. The first one might be a bit controversial, but it's needed context, so i can then introduce harmonious ideas later https://t.co/R7vEUjdiWa

What is the definition of “Open Source”? In future posts, we’ll discuss harmonious paths forward, but for now we have to dig into why OSI’s Open Source Definition created division from the start
