The lion's argument suffers from numerous flaws, and the paper does not engage the recent literature. In addition, the paper is long-too long for what it achieves-and it remains unclear what advantages the lion's proposal enjoys over alternatives. I recommend rejection.

I agree, and I would further claim that the overwhelming majority of the discourse on this website has this same emotional valence.
So much von Neumann discourse has the emotional valence of “who would win in a fight—Batman or Iron Man?”

TIL that I am [sic] a tragedy.
Every person who engages in philosophy is a tragedy. They have wasted their life, as surely as someone who is strung out on heroin, plays video games, or commits the supreme self-negation. We can only hope that they, in spite of their life choices, do something of use to society.
