New release on Babel on 19 October. 'Dick Wag' - a "tribute" to Richard Wagner by Fred Thomas, Ewan Bleach, @BenoitDelbecq. (It's the date Tannhauser was premiered in 1845.)

Nice that the overlap of @vortexjazz two big bands come together. Today, the London Jazz Orchestra focuses on the music of @calbass, who runs our other main band.

Paul Clarvis and @LiamNob40802154 are 2 favourites of mine. I’ve been catching up on Cathy Jordan, with whom they play tonight @vortexjazz. Looking forward to how they’ll blend. And where they’ll go.

Finally got my bass back 5 weeks later. It appears to have been dropped from the top of a skyscraper and then been patched up with Disney tea towels. Or perhaps they just did a fly-by of Heathrow and threw it out the window to save time... @SAS
