The steep drop in VC funding across the board for Crypto teams is pretty stark Is it because: - not enough amazing teams to fund? - uncertainty about crypto's survival? - gold rush into AI? - a natural correction from the excesses of 2021-2022 when everyone wanted to be a VC?
3/ Meanwhile, VC funding for crypto projects has fallen off a cliff. Forbes: "Though the data is only through mid-May, it’s not off to a good start. Crypto firms globally have raised just $500 million, 98% less than in all of 2022".

3/5 Here are some things I don’t need: offshore development, programmers, mobile development, 401K plans, funding, etc. This is a waste of time and energy for both sides. I spend hours a day being distracted, and the outreach teams spend their days chasing leads that go nowhere.
