Earlier this year, I presented @ladybirdbrowser at @FUTO_Tech in Austin, Texas. I believe it's currently the best introduction to what we're doing with Ladybird! (400K+ viewers can't be wrong 🤓) https://t.co/YvznAYZ6Dn

Laptop stickers are like tattoos. They used to feel cool and rebellious, but then all the millennials got them. Now clean skin is the true counterculture.
When I see laptops full of stickers nowadays it looks kinda cringe to me It was normal though 10 years ago I wonder what exactly changed in culture to make it cringe?

An underrated aspect of browser development is that you get to care about all the cute little personal websites people make. It's not all GitHub, YouTube and Shopify storefront debugging. The wobbly photos on @aarondfrancis's website gotta look right, too! 🤓

It’s a bit funny how Copilot tells him to select 150% but that’s already selected so he says “Let’s!” while selecting 200% 😅

When software is slowed down by “death by a thousand cuts”, the unglamorous but effective solution is often to work your way through each cut and do something about it. Rebirth by a thousand cleanups. 🤓🌄

Could Apple and SpaceX finally do a satellite deal? Talk of a Globalstar sale and Starlink satellite changes could presage such an agreement.

The year is 2006. You are Mike Pall, author of LuaJIT Everyone tells you compilers are so good that a human can rarely beat one Despite this, you rewrite LuaJIT's interpreter in assembly and it's *faster* than the compiler's version How? Lets talk about interpreters and JITs:

I don't have a strong keep/yeet opinion on XSLT, but it's fascinating to see people get worked up about deprecation of ancient stuff they don't actually use. Reminds me of when Linux was removing 80386 support. "Well no, *I* don't use it, but.. you can't just remove things!!"

In the gym this morning, training my 10yo nephew. An old-timer walked up to us and complimented the boy on his deadlift form. His face lit up with joy! It’s a little thing but it means so much to a kid who’s trying really hard to get good at something. Thanks, old-timer! ❤️💪

Talking to journalists is mostly a waste of time. It made sense when they controlled access to the audience. Today, their reach is tiny and keeps shrinking. Build your own audience on social media, and you won't need journalists.

Achievement unlocked! 👏 @sparkjsdev gets a shoutout by @awesomekling himself in latest @ladybirdbrowser update. Amazing progress 🤩 Last year WebGL didn't work at all and now it can render beautiful 3D gaussian splats ✨ https://t.co/h6Id2e4jAk

Turns out SVG images render a lot faster in @ladybirdbrowser if we do it on the GPU. Our own website can now load in milliseconds! 🤓🔥
