I have a feeling we could see the first high risk of the year. My thoughts are 30% probabilities on D4 or D5 a moderate on D2 and D3, but more likely and ENH on D3 and then in the 1630 Z update on D1 it goes high.

Same with NWS Kansas City. A few months back I tried calling them and there was no place to report. I then called 911 and asked them to let the NWS know because every EMA has good communications with the NWS, or at least should. I basically got told by the 911 “Okay. Have a good

Correct me if I am wrong, but i believe the last high risk in Missouri was in 2005. I honestly would not be surprised to see one issued in Missouri this year.
This is just my opinion.

I’m a becoming increasing concerned about people who don’t know the difference between a sunny day and cloudy day going out and chasing storms just because of the new Twister movie. I have had people tell me directly that they are going to go out and do it, and I know for a fact

KS target area tomorrow. Black is the general area that I believe storms will develop and the red is where I believe there will be the best chance for supercells to develop. Storms should track Northeast and I think there could be enough rotation on them by the time they get to
