The most intense tornado damage I’ve ever seen today in Greenfield, Iowa. Rolled up right after the town got hit, with a family of 4 in my car with minor injuries. It was chaos but was finally able to safely leave town. Need some time to take this all in.

Heartwarming update of the family that I took to Greenfield to get treated by EMS. The two little boys made it out good and the mom has some injuries along with the dad. It could have been way worse as their house was completely gone. Thankful for the minimal injuries…
FULL TIMELAPSE of Tornado-Genesis from the storm that produced the Sagerton, TX Tornado on 2-2-24. A RFD cut, clear slot, and a right turn yielded the perfect conditions for a tornado to form right in front of me. One of my best timelapses to date!!!

The most chaotic moment of my life…
Greenfield, IA: May 21st, 2024: 3:30PM
Trailing behind a tornado with recorded wind speeds of over 300 mph, I came across the damage path, turbines mangled, and one house, completely flattened, and a family running out crying after mayhem…
Imma get real pissy, actually I’m fuming out of my mind of all the drone shots and damage pictures from Greenfield after everything settled down. Yall are a bunch of scumbags…
A special thanks to
@BrandonCopicWx
and
@VinceWaelti
for helping be out in a situation I’ve never been in before. It really means the world to me. I’m logging off for the night. Safe travels everyone

This was a super hard post to type out but here you go. 13 years ago, my life was changed forever. My dad died after he got trapped under a bridge after it collapsed due to the major floods in June of 2010. I looked up to him so much, and try to model myself like he acted in his
Funny moment yesterday while on a tornado warned storm near Hinton, OK. Rolled up on Val and Amy Castor in the middle of the road, but the truck could not go into reverse. So I was the only one who got out of the car and helped them push it out of the way. Fun times.

Beyond thankful for
@BrandonCopicWx
booking me a hotel tonight. Was completely content sleeping in my car tonight but he insisted anyways. He is the man, literally such an awesome dude. Time to get some good rest and all this dust off my body😅
Fixing the holes with
@getflexseal
that the Dominator 3 left in the highway after deploying before intercepting a massive Ef-1 wedge 5 days ago West of Spalding, Nebraska. 10/10 would recommend for all fixes for holes on the highway!!!

I’ve never have been so happy in my life. Intercepting a hurricane has always been a bucket list item, now it is checked off. There is nothing like 100mph hitting your face for minutes on end. Hurricanes are a different BEAST!!!

Timelapse of the INSANE tornado-warned supercell near Alta Vista, KS on Wednesday as it dropped a tornado right in front of me. Absolute insanity!!!

I’m getting very concerned about the people getting concerned about the people getting concerned for the concerning severe weather setup on such a concerning Saturday in Oklahoma. Models are depicting very concerning storms and very concerning conditions.
One of the best storm chases of my career today. Pinned up against the wall, I was able to sneak out a phat tornado near Minden, Nebraska, see insane structure, and only take one baseball to the windshield, 2024 keeps on giving!!!

I can’t thank everyone enough for the overwhelming support on yesterdays tornado video. It was my first tornado intercept ever. Don’t worry, many more tornadoes will be seen. Year one of storm chasing has been amazing!!! This video was the same tornado from yesterday
I’m now seeing nonstop complaining from almost all chasers about the failure modes today. Shut up, get to a Starbucks. Grab some coffee, get to forecasting. It’s May, you chase. We don’t have time for this tomfoolery..
