you might not know this about me, but despite being a white boy I’m actually Yolŋu! one of my grandfathers designed a flag during the (ultimately successful) Yolŋu struggle for Sea Rights in the 2000s. I’ve annotated it w/ additional symbolism he told me but not mentioned online.
