Also, you do not need to force yourself to read the entire in one month. I have a book club with one other person where we read a single chapter a month. It is perfect

a life hack is that you can make a book club with just two people. you can pick a book and read it with a friend and have a long chat about it after. no one can stop you

The Economist published their annual "glass-ceiling index" of women in the economy - rating female workforce participation, education rates, pay equity, etc. What stands out: a) what Orban has done to Hungarian women; b) how low Germany remains; c) how Canada has made no progress

I'm glad Catapult will continue publishing books but the loss of its online presence is very sad.

What's the story behind the .6 part of the year here, I hope this movie will explain why those 219 days were important to mention.

In light of Loblaw's inept efforts on social media to justify its super-sized inflation-fueling profits, this is an opportune time to remind shoppers of four crucial economic facts regarding supermarket profitability: 🧡 https://t.co/P5iyQNFeI9 #cdnecon /2

When I lived in Cambodia and my American roommate managed to find a box of KD, we invited our friends over and laid it out as though it was caviar. (Then we learned that Australians do not have KD and they do not appreciate it. Sad!)

Sent a pic of my positive COVID test to my sister, who somehow thought it was a positive pregnancy test. I feel tired enough to be in my first trimester, but other than that, no parallels between pregnancy and covid.

Consumer Reports scientists recently measured the amount of heavy metals in 28 dark chocolate bars. They detected cadmium and lead in all of them... For 23 of the bars, eating just 1 oz a day would put an adult over a potentially harmful level of lead.

If you're fortunate enough to have a family physician providing longitudinal care with no plans to shutter the office, I suggest sending them flowers or buying them a coffee. THEY ARE TRUE HEROES for keeping the faith and the lights on. That's the tweet.
