This is not patient autonomy. This is not patient autonomy. This is not patient autonomy! Patients have the right to choose their own pharmacy without jeopardizing their medication coverage.
Under a new deal, Manulife Financial Corp. says its coverage of certain prescription drugs will only apply at Loblaw Cos. Ltd. pharmacies. READ MORE: https://t.co/DXsXTm2byD

The decision for the govt to appoint a for-profit org - Shoppers Drug Mart - to act as the sole distributor of Covid vaccines makes absolutely NO sense. We need an inquiry on the relationship between SDM & the govt, bc this favouritism is clearly not beneficial for the public.
π₯After administering thousands of vaccines over the past few years, we've made the tough decision to conclude our vaccine season, & possibly for all future seasons for publicly funded vaccines.

Why do pharmacies charge dispensing fees on prescriptions? A dispensing fee or professional fee is an all-inclusive fee that reimburses the direct and indirect costs associated with dispensing, distribution, and cognitive service functions surrounding your prescription and care.

Iβve been seeing a lot of people quoting stats that show more athletes died in the last year than have died in the last 38 years. Is this true? No, letβs chat about it. A π§΅ππ»

Infuriating. Polarizing. Evidence-free. Offensive. No, using the term "anti-vaccine" is not the same as racism. Ridiculous claim. Being anti-vaccine is a choice. (Which a large body of evidence tells us is informed by misinformation & in-group signalling.)

In the burnout world, we talk a lot about the importance of docs practicing at the top of their licensure. Real system overhaul must include same principle for every health professional. Believe me, pharmacists are damn smart & highly trained. They can do more. @picardonhealth

I get comments like this all the time from people who donβt understand the purpose of VAERS, and likely have never generated a report for themselves. In this thread I will post some deaths reported to VAERS following vaccination. π§΅ππ»

The kind of positivity we all need right now in Ontario, thank you!!
@PharmacistMama Pharmacists in Alberta are very excited for you all! And don't worry, the complaining gets quieter when they realize how good we are at prescribing and managing drug therapy!! The "I respect pharmacists but..." comments vanish all of a sudden.
