It is personal to us because our contributors are there. Friends & colleagues; their kids are there. & their kids' friends, their frenemies, their neighbors, the people who sell them bread & repair their phones' cracked screens. Who fix their teeth, who teach them. It's personal.

Hi book media, please don't repeat Frankfurt @Book_Fair's "clarifying statement" that says, "Of course, the Frankfurt book fair is a platform for both Israeli and Palestinian voices.". without challenging it. Unless you have found any events with Palestinians. We have not.
