Considering the developments in the Middle East, I am sharing with you my latest book, co-edited with Prof. @i_fraihat . The book was published after the onset of the genocide in Gaza. We were hesitant to announce its publication, as there seemed to be no room for joy or a sense

For those who don’t know, even before the genocide, Israel did not allow non-Israeli goods to enter Gaza. Gaza was essentially a consumer market for Israel. Even Palestinian businessmen in Gaza who wanted to import goods were required to have an Israeli partner to do so.

The comments this are both insane & infuriating. Do you realise how absurd you sound when you demand that a literal genocide survivor “boycotts” coke from the comfort & safety of your homes? The genocide is ongoing, clean water is not available & this is AID, not purchased.

The "brightest" minds of American journalism have for the past 2 months been exclusively interested in what happens "the day after" Hamas is eliminated. Their inability to ask, in the first place, if there's actually a military solution to Hamas is symptomatic of the echo chamber
ThREAD 🧵 As a Gazan with 15 years of research on Hamas under my belt, I address the question: Can Hamas be eliminated? The straightforward answer is no. The methods Israel is using are unlikely to completely dismantle Hamas. Recent polls suggest a surge in support for Hamas

This thread explains well why Israel's military objective in Gaza will not be achieved, and why it is only digging a great hole for Israelis

This is a well-informed thread that's worth reading, especially if you believe that Israel will succeed in destroying Hamas.

Two years ago I learned that six of my cousins were killed by an IDF airstrike in Gaza while sheltering in their church: Viola & Yara, and four young children—Alia, Juliet, George & Joelle. May their memories be eternal, and may God watch over all the suffering people of Gaza.
I was really worried about this. 😔 With great sadness, I have now confirmed that several of my relatives (including Viola and Yara pictured here) were killed at Saint Porphyrius Orthodox Church in Gaza, where they had been sheltering, when part of the complex was destroyed as

BREAKING: This Aston Villa fan, honorary president of Israeli Friends of Aston Villa fictitious fan club, says he's been receiving death threats following the decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans, despite actually being neither an Aston Villa nor Maccabi fan, just a war criminal
Sky News labeled this guy "Aston Villa fan" and called him Jewish (he isn't) in an earlier tweet. Picture: Sky News' poor victimized football fan (Andrew Fox) doing a propaganda video at a GHF Killing Field.

According to @ytirawi, the wounded were not Israeli soldiers in Rafah, but private contractors and settlers hired by the army to demolish homes in Rafah since last week.
Al-Qassam: • We confirm our full commitment to implementing everything agreed upon, foremost of which is the ceasefire in all areas of the Gaza Strip. • We have no knowledge of any events or clashes taking place in Rafah. • Communication is cut off with our remaining
