Great thread on work-life balance. Recommended. I would only add that I find it useful to block time by type of task: Research in the morning when I'm fresh; admin/meetings in the afternoon.
I see a lot of #AcademicTwitter posts about working insane hours & having no personal life. I wanna state that it's possible to have a fulfilling & successful academic career while working reasonable hours & enjoying personal/family life! Let's model this more often! A mini 🧵
