I have been raising awareness about the corruption of pharma @OtsukaUS . To quote an investment banker "there is a difference between unethical &immoral vs illegal. It's disgusting but nobody is listening. If this was made public it would be surprising if 1% of the pop even cared.

@iam_emilyanne @kenjaques In British Columbia people can be “recertified”, on “extended leave” under Mental Health Act of BC, sometimes for years. The “treatment plan” is usually a forced long acting injection of antipsychotic like Abilify Maintena depot. They cannot refuse or they will be arrested,

This is unbelievable… who the hell is prescribing these drugs and are they aware of the potential risks?

Also seen with the newer partial dopamine agonist, atypical antipsychotics, used as "add on treatments for depression, bipolar and Alzheimer's dementia" (Vraylar, Rexulti, and Abilify).

Whenever I see a video of Akathisia I hate the doctors who prescribed me these drugs without a word of warning.

Now add to that cocktails of IM and po meds, high seizure threshold, 8-10 consecutive general anesthetics with succinylcholine, propofol and fentanyl ... AND... is it really mania/catatonia or is this the drug side effect?

@Carl_Bourne @KellyMartin02 @cchruk It's not misinformation. #ECT carries risk of permanent brain damage. Patients are not being warned of risk, and many suffer severe cognitive impairment and memory loss. You are misinformed. There's been 80 years of patients being harmed without informed consent.

@benzosarebad @wdpsychiatry How many psychiatrists would use personally use antipsychotics like Abilify for anxiety, Seroquel for sleep, or Abilify Maintena "convenient" monthly injections for mood disorders? None. Atypical antipsychotics have replaced the benzodiazepines and long term harms significant

@CaulfieldTim @RetractionWatch @PeterHotez @jonathanstea @ScienceUpFirst @GidMK @AntibioticDoc @DrShazmaMithani @StanKutcher Have you ever reviewed “mental health” literature? There is a shocking lack of anything that is not entirely Pharma funded, short term @IQVIA_global “clinical trials”, data collected by Pharma, ghostwritten and results swayed to look favourable. @FearLoathingBTX

Clinical Research Associate salaries at IQVIA $71,398 - $110,000/yr. Bonuses & extra compensation, a Clinical Research Associate at IQVIA can make $85,507 per year. That's a lot of money to arrest and inject 5000 "involuntary" people with Abilify Maintena every month in 2022
