Too many recent films have lost the art of character introductions and that makes me sad! Too many missed opportunities to tell us who the character is by having them doing SOMETHING when they’re introduced to the audience!

Not an original observation I know, but English pubs are extremely shit compared to the Irish version, no bar stools, no chat from the barman, no craic, dreary, depressing, largely empty.
