Anything you can do in Notion, your agent can do… on mobile. Before, Agent on mobile ran in a web view. Now, it’s native, faster, so quick ideas don’t have to wait.

Making big changes can often feel daunting. So I wrote about the process of redesigning the @retool IDE, from crafting a North Star, creating a decision making framework, to balancing diverse user needs. Hopefully this will spark fresh ideas for people on a similar journey 💫
How do you go about actually reaching a North Star goal for your product? - Illuminate a path toward creative solutions - Gain shared perspective on the possible - Pursue meaningful milestones - Make use of constraints - Be methodical - 🌟! https://t.co/T7QlgYYPEJ

We launched a redesign of @Retool’s Inspector last week, re-organizing properties across our 100+ components and introducing progressive disclosure patterns to reduce clutter. I wrote about some of the design challenges we worked through here 👇

I've wanted to write a rich history of Microsoft's Visual Basic for a long time. VB pioneered visual programming and had 3.5M developers(!) at its peak, but was lost to the sands of time. A short 18 months and 5,000 words later, it's finally finished👉 https://t.co/BE2NVBwCyf

Had a blast working on this with @sunjessica17 and @zhanlarr! Wrote a bit about the design process behind Retool’s new command palette here:
retool.com
Speed and ergonomics matter to developers. We heard from users that common workflows in Retool could feel cumbersome, and wanted to offer a faster approach. This blog post is a peek behind the design...
Introducing the Command Palette: a faster way to search and navigate to everything you need in Retool. Instead of clicking around the screen, you can run commands from your keyboard to build faster than ever before. Get started by hitting ⌘/Ctrl + K ⌨️

The provider donated $10K to @EFF in place of a bounty at my request. Customer source code and production secrets from build processes were vulnerable, but no abuse was found after a third-party forensics. https://t.co/xRk1jSTFPn

David Armstrong on philosophy:
"What are philosophers experts at?" asks @bryan_caplan. We're experts at thinking. "But then why haven't you settled the answers?" Having settled answers is not thinking, it's being done with thinking. Everyone but a philosopher is the expert at that. https://t.co/h39cIFdJVt

We heard from designers that triaging through a ton of comments gets really overwhelming, really quickly. We've added filters and notifications to help y'all feel a little more in control of it all. 🎉 to @andrewaashen @meaganrgamache and team for driving these changes

1. I'm working on a new book that teaches design to everyone - and I've read over 40 "design books" as research. One major observation is how frequently design is described as a solitary activity, taking place mostly in one person's mind. Despite how rarely that happens in life.
