We are #absolutely #thrilled to #present @ImmunityCP - Deep profiling of human T cells defines compartmentalized clones and phenotypic trajectories across blood and tonsils: Immunity
cell.com
Human T cell responses are often studied using blood, yet most T cells reside in tissues. By comparing T cell receptor repertoires from millions of T cells from autologous tonsils and blood, Suresh...

Wigner's surmise in biophysics? Maybe! Pankaj Mehta (BU) and I wrote this perspective

Paper from me @michecurtis @soumya_boston and co out now in @naturemethods! We now call the tool starCAT instead of *CAT but the strategy is the same: Build a catalog of ~50 interpretable T cell gene expression programs + use them to interpret new data
nature.com
Nature Methods - TCAT is a pipeline that can simultaneously capture gene expression programs related to T cell subsets and activation states for accurate T cell characterization.
@michecurtis and I are thrilled to share our preprint "Reproducible single cell annotation of programs underlying T-cell subsets, activation states, and functions" from the @soumya_boston lab @BrighamResearch and @broadinstitute! https://t.co/OexYxSnc3D 1/12

In our updated preprint, we show that mlTCRdist weights are predictive for pMHCs highly dissimilar (≥ 6 edits) to any seen during training! We are excited about this as such wide extrapolation has so far remained out of reach for sequence-based machine learning approaches. 🎉
