People are posting albums that blew their mind at 15. I was 15 at this show and saw many others at Sacred Heart. Impossible to describe — pay $5 to benefit a charity, get educated on progressive causes in a church basement in DC, and dance like maniacs to this music.

Go-Go remains one of the most undeniable and flexible music forms in the world, it can absorb and transform any tune. The musicianship is always top tier - you will never hear a Go-Go band mess up, and they will find Go-Go in any song, or find any song in Go-Go. ❤️.

Phill Niblock was, by any measure, a genius. I was fortunate to work with Phill in 2001, bringing him to the Brooklyn Anchorage with Creative Time. I feel lucky to have seen his process up close at Experimental Intermedia as well. He was incomparable.
