I’ve been an unpaid carer for 25 years now.
It’s the constant worrying & fighting for services.
Caring for multiple children with disabilities has had a huge effect on my life & especially my mental health.
This needs highlighted more.

A year ago yesterday my mum was admitted into hospital.
The 10 weeks that followed was the hardest ever to watch.
Even though she was 85 she was always so active for her age.
Still doesn’t feel real that I’ll never see her again.
Grief is a strange feeling.

A week tomorrow myself, my husband & 12 year old son go to Florida again.
I can’t put into words how much this holiday is needed.
The past 10 months have been the hardest of my life.

He had a sore throat on Saturday.
We done the home tests & both were negative.

He asked for two chicken bakes.
Plus he asked for a receipt.
To many this isn’t a big thing.
