Consider the optics, Pakistan is likely to start another round of mass expulsion of Afghans and these former Afghan officials who are upset at the Islamic Emirate because of human rights and democracy are NOW going to Pakistan to talk about Afghan politics (not refugee rights).

What’s fascinating is that during the occupation most of these people were so vehemently anti-Pakistan and kept saying the Taliban is under their control and now those same people go to Pakistan to talk about a Taliban government in Afghanistan … 🤷🏽♂️.

I just wish those outside Afghanistan would finally learn from the Afghan people’s example and start to look for practical solutions to the myriad social, economic, and humanitarian challenges the country still faces.
