I had a very productive meeting today with democratic socialist State Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani in Greenwich Village this afternoon. I can’t say much, but politics in the world’s most influential city are about to get a lot more exciting. Keep an eye on this Muslim socialist.

I took Brad and his fam on a walking tour through the neighborhood for his birthday last summer. The guy literally chose to have a private birthday event to learn more about NYC. You don’t see this kind of curiosity from politicians. He actually cares—and has my full support.

Lmao: “If the new mayor wants to use the surge of interest in joining his mayoralty to get his administration up and running fast, he will face an ugly obstacle: the City’s civil service system. To call it ‘byzantine’ would be an insult to Byzantium.”
